What are your Memorial Day plans?
My Memorial Day weekend we be spent tooling around B’ham, AL with one of my oldest and dearest friends, relaxing at Lake Logan Martin with good compnay, grilling up kielbasa, and possibly bringing back the American flag Jell-O mold dessert that graced last year’s 4th of July party.
I’m floatin’ down the Cahaba with a six-pack, BLT and few friends.
I’m driving from DC through the Blue Ridge Mtns. maybe stopping in Lexington VA and Blowing Rock, NC.
I spent mine in Washington, DC. With the major Memorial Day tribute concert on the National Mall, events at Arlington Cemetery, the Constitution Ave. parade and more, it’s the perfect place to celebrate this national holiday.
Good places in all. These list will be on my road trip. Check out the food places as well.
