Pensacola Beach Deal: $300 gift card promo

August 24, 2010 | By | Comments (8)

I love shoulder seasons at the beach. The crowds have thinned, the summer heat is abating, and the water's still warm enough for swimming. If you really need any more reason to go, how about a $300 incentive?

Pensacola announced a new "You Play, We Pay!" promotion that rewards visitors with an AmEx gift card worth up to $300 for booking a stay in Escambia county before the end of September. The visitor's center will award you $100 for each night's stay (up to $300) with proof of payment. The gift cards are good for use anywhere, any time, at your discretion.

Here's how to get it:

1. Register for the program on VisitPensacola.com

2. Make a reservation directly with a hotel or other lodging property in Escambia County (Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, or the mainland).

3. Save your receipt. After paying your lodging bill (pre-pay if you want the card to spend during your stay), present your receipt to the nearest visitor's center (you'll find one on Pensacola Beach, on Perdido Key, and on the mainland).

How's the Beach? I'm happy to report that it's looking once again like the beach I know and love. According to the daily report (see updates on CuriousAboutOurCoast.com) all beaches in Escambia County and the Gulf Islands National Seashore are open for swimming and fishing, though there have been some minimal reports of oil effects (scattered tar balls and such) over the past few weeks.

This photo was taken today at Casino Beach on Pensacola Beach. Keep tabs on the state of the beach and check out more daily photos at CuriousAboutOurCoast.com/photos.

I felt the same way once the waters and beaches were opened again, and deemed safe to swim in. It was such a relief and I have to say, I was impressed with how communities all along the gulf came together to try and protect the natural treasures.

All sentences are about something or anyone. The something or another person that the sentence is about is known as the topic with the sentence. Out of your blog, I see that, and review one thing I’d like. Thanks for sharing.

A single of the foremost differences between a blog site plus a static web-site is the way men and women are in a position to interact with your subject matter. With a static web site it is really just consumers studying phrases on a web page. While you have a site they will take a look at as well as comment back again! You should get that sort of interactive spirit going so you could generate a loyal readership with the webpage.

Speaking of the Pensacola, a great event called the 3rd annual Art and Wine Weekend is going on at Pensacola Beach this fall and it looks like so much fun! There is multiple wine tastings going on all weekend, and you can ride the ‘Art Express’ trolly for free. It takes you to 20 different locations to view all kinds of various modern art. I encourage all art and wine lovers to visit Pensacola Beach on Oct. 2-3, 2010 for the 3rd annual Art and Wine Weekend!

When I first saw this web page proposing a Travel Advisory Warning about Naples Italy, my thought was that Tales From The Road readers should read this! http://hubpages.com/hub/Tourism-Advisory-Warning-Avoid-Naples-Napoli-Italy-Crime-Filth-Danger
