Just a couple of weeks after the Hangout Music Festival and Bonnaroo, the South is gearing up for another big music weekend. Pensacola Beach’s DeLuna Fest, September 21-23, has added some major headliners to their lineup.
In its third year, DeLuna Fest is becoming a major event for the Gulf Coast, drawing music fans from around the country. Scott Mitchell, Managing Partner, says:
“We are very excited about how well the 2012 DeLuna Fest lineup has been received by music fans. We have already sold tickets in 47 US States and 13 foreign countries, so we feel that our mission of bringing people back to Pensacola Beach after the oil spill is being accomplished. This year’s DeLuna Fest is shaping up to be the biggest entertainment event of the end of summer shoulder tourist season.”
Artists previously announced include North Carolina-born Ben Folds Five, who are currently working on a new album after a 12 year hiatus, New Orleans’ Rebirth Brass Band, the Foo Fighters, Florence and the Machine, Guided By Voices, Band of Horses … the list goes on. (Current lineup here.)
Advanced pricing tickets are still available from their website. $159.95 (plus tax and service) gets you a three day pass. Who’s in for a road trip to the beach?
