What should we know about your sport?
Trampoline has only been an Olympic event since 2000. I joke it’s the red-headed stepchild of the games. A lot of people still aren’t very familiar with trampoline, but it’s actually a very cool sport filled with as much grace as there is tumbling and athleticism.

What makes your hometown special?
The food. The music. The hospitality. I could go on for days! But if I had to pick just one thing it would be the Cajun food—by far the best you’ll ever eat.

Favorite Southern splurge?
Gumbo or crawfish topped with sauce piquante a spicy red hot sauce.
