chemex m Were Giving Away a Chemex Complete Coffee Brewing SetLeave it to a scientist to perfect the art of coffee brewing. 70 years ago, Dr. Peter Schlumbohm created the ironically shaped, hourglass beaker-shaped Chemex Coffeemaker that is considered to make one of the world’s finest cups of coffee.

Because of the revolutionary design, you can brew coffee as strong as you’d like without any bitterness – this is the best coffee maker and it makes perfect iced coffee. We’re giving away a complete Chemex Brewing Set which includes a glass cover, nylon brush, silicone rubber ball steam stopper, and pre-folded square filters; and retails for $143.30.

I would add my sweet grandson sitting on a stool munching his fave: mac and cheese. And my little doggie under the stools, waiting for “fall-out”!

It needs another piece, with some color to hang things from, like colorful towels and pot holders and mitts, or maybe decorative cookware of stainless or copper

If I somehow magically acquired that kitchen I would first oww and ah with gratification and declare it ‘perfect’. Then, once the fairies had left, I would paint the ceiling a pale green – a soft green, not as blue-green as a robin’s egg, but not as yellow-green as daffodil buds – rip out the light fixtures and install one of those gigantic armatures to hang the many copper pots that the fairies also hopefully provided and remove the icky granite and replace it with butcher-block.

It needs color. I would put artwork in the space above the hood, and maybe paint the base of the stools a soft green.
