I use technology all the time in my kitchen! I love to look up directions on how to cook certain foods, and I’m always looking for new recipes to try out! there is so much more to do in the kitchen with the internet! if it wasnt for technology I probably wouldn’t know how to cook much of anything!!
I use technology in the kitchen to look up recipes. I like to try new recipes from internet searches. I also store favorite family recipes on my laptop.
I use technology in the kitchen to search out new recipes, cooking techniques and how-to videos on dishes that i have not prepared before to get me up to speed on my gourmet journey. Videos by the great chefs across the world are an inspiration!
What a great product! I usually set my computer over on my work island to prevent any splashes. I’m always looking up new recipes or digging around on Pinterest for something to whip up in a jiffy. Thanks!
Our oddly configured kitchen has outlets in rather weird places. I only allow my son on the computer when I can watch but we must face back to back to do homework and cook. The power pod sounds like a great solution!
I use technology in the kitchen to look up recipes on my iPad. We also charge our cell phones in the kitchen. Would love to win. Thanks.
I have a computer in the kitchen so I can look up recipes, try new things and listen to music while I cook.
I frequently look up recipes Instead of running over to my desk to check the recipe, I could bring the computer over to the kitchen. I would use it for my crockpots and well as other appliances. When we have family get togethers, sometimes we don’t have enought plugs for all the crock pots. This would also put the plugs on top of the counter instead of on the side where I am always afraid someone will walk by and it will catch and pull the crock pot to the floor.
This is exactly what I need in my kitchen! I always have my laptop on my counter top, open to whatever recipe I’ve decided on for the day. And adjacent to the lap top are our phones, ipods and GPS watches, recharging, taking up too much room and outlet space. There has to be a better way!!
I am somewhat in the dark ages. I just got a tablet. So I use my smartphone as my cookbook many times. I will go to my pinterest pages and pull up a recipe and off I go.
I am creating a cookbook with my daughter. We are filling it with family favorites and then testing online recipes. We create at least one dish a week either from Pinterest, online magazines such as southernliving.com, Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray, etc. We have folders and files of the ones we want with step-by-step directions, YouTube video links and pictures. When we are done we plan on using an online site to finish the cookbook..one like Tastebook or perhaps we will do it completely by ourselves. This has been an adventure and brought us even closer together. I am pleased that she loves baking as much as I do and she has shown me a creative side to myself that I didn’t know existed. This power pod would simplify things and add to our fun!
When I moved into my condo two years ago, it had been stripped down by the previous owner. There wasn’t even a kitchen sink!! I looked at it as a clean slate and an opportunity to create what I want. The kitchens in these condos are very vanilla in style and looks. I love technology and research new items all of the time. I use my laptop frequently in the kitchen to view recipes. Of course my phone, ipad and such are close by. I love a kitchen that is streamline, clutter-free and modern. I think the power pod will help me achieve this goal.
Usually go in living room or bedroom and get on computer to look up recopies and ingredients, etc, but having this power pod in kitchen would make it much easier to plug in one device to look up things and stay right there to work on whatever making!!
I use my Ipod to look up recipes online or in cookbooks I have purchased as e-books. I also make cooking and cleaning in the kitchen more fun by listening to music on my Ipod via I-tunes or Pandora.
I do use my laptop in the kitchen to look up recipes, but we also bring in our radio so that we can dance to music while we cook. Sometimes we end up doing a little too much dancing and burn things, but it’s what our family loves to do and it’s worth the burn.
My husband and I like to cook together in the kitchen. We use technology to browse recipe sites such as Southern Living. Our phones are used for searching and comparing ideas. Our laptop computer gets center stage on the kitchen island as we prep and cook. Other technology we use is a printer for our recipes and scanners for saving recipes we find in magazines.Technology is all around us as we cook. The power pod sounds great!
We use technology in our kitchen primarily to bring our family together in one place. Dad uses the Wi-Fi to connect to the Web music and news while he’s making dinner. The kids are plugged in on their laptops at the island doing homework, and checking e-mail and Facebook (whose kidding who?)
The kitchen is the hub of family time in our home. Some folks allow technology to isolate family members…we use it to bring us together.
I usually use technology for new recipes or playing music while i cook
It’s very effortless to find out any topic on net as compared to textbooks, as I found this post at this web page.
