In case you don’t know, the burgers at Holeman & Finch Public House in Atlanta are kind of a big deal. Since we first told you about them in the January 2010 issue, the fanaticism has only grown. The restaurant doles out 24 of its prized creations at 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, so they’re tough to get. Savvy diners know to place their orders by 8 p.m. on weekends to even stand a chance.

This spring savoring an H&F burger gets easier. Holeman & Finch just announced it’ll be opening a concession stand at Turner Field just in time for the Braves first home game April 1. The formula will be simple: No hot dogs, no nachos, no diet soda; just the simple goodness of a well-made burger, hand-cut fries, and Coca-Cola Classic. April can’t come soon enough.

If you can’t wait until then to get your burger fix, seasoned H&F server Stephen LaVie gave us the low-down on how to score one now. The trick is to get to the restaurant for Sunday brunch when the chefs make nearly 200 burgers. Go between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. after the brunch crowd dies down. Hunker down on a bar stool and enjoy. You’re welcome.
