Grayton BeachWhether you know it as The Emerald Coast, the Panhandle, or—our favorite—The Redneck Riviera, the 127-mile stretch between Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Panama City, Florida, is one of the most popular coastal getaways in the South. And though things will be picking up in just a few weeks as kids are out of school you’ll still be able to enjoy some quiet here all summer long:

» Grayton Beach, FL: Old school Florida along Highway 30a. Plus, it’s home to the world famous Red Bar.

» Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, FL: Features three breathtaking coastal dune lakes.

» Fort Morgan Beach, Gulf Shores, AL: The best of both the Gulf and Mobile Bay.

» Okaloosa Island, Between Destin and Fort Walton Beach, FL: Good spot for dolphin sightings.

» St. Andrews State Park, Panama City, FL: Just miles from the hustle and bustle of the Panama City strip is this quiet gem of a state park. Great for shelling and uninterrupted views.

We want to hear from you: What’s your favorite secluded beach on the Gulf Coast?
