In case you missed my editor’s letter in the August issue, here’s a recap. Earlier this year, I had the privilege to address 85 members of the Southern Living Custom Builder program, a handpicked group known for their dedication to quality, authenticity, and all the little details that enhance our built environment. I drew upon my own training as an architect to outline some of the fundamentals of good construction, whether it’s an all new project or a remodel — I call them the “10 Commandments of Southern Style.”
