While the holidays are a stressful time for everyone, we have to say they’re particularly hectic for us here at Southern Living. From creating the perfect gift guide to testing a dozen roasts and turning our photo studios into winter wonderlands, there isn’t too much time to sit back and enjoy it all. Especially when it’s August and we would really just like to eat a tomato sandwich in a lawn chair near some sort of water feature.
But as always, you, our readers, make it all worthwhile and remind us why we do what we do.
Even though we are already planning our Easter and summer issues with visions of glazed hams, deviled eggs and blackberry spritzers dancing in our heads, we want to take some time to show off some of our favorite fan mail about our December cover cake – a five-tiered Red Velvet White Chocolate Cheesecake.
