This is a guest post by Atlanta-based writer Jessica Nell Graves of The Love List.
Beach days are ahead of us and with that, sandal weather. While we’re landlocked here in Atlanta, it doesn’t make those sticky Southern days any less sweltering, which is why I’m already thinking about what I’ll be wearing to stay (and look) cool.
There are so many excellent independent brands sprouting wings in this town right now, but one of my favorites is Clay + Bros., founded by my buddy Clay Reeves. His ethos is to keep things simple, and the design of his sandals (fondly known as “Clays”) truly reflects that. Just a vibram sole and some parachute cord—but with infinite styling possibilities. They work just as well for bros as they do on girls—and for 65 bucks, you can own not only a great new pair of kicks but back a killer Southern company with integrity and a whole lot of (yeah, I’m going for it) “sole.”
