Here at Southern Living, we are big fans of Texan director Wes Anderson. While we wait for his latest flick, The Grand Budapest Hotel to hit Birmingham theaters, we are feasting our eyes on this recipe video he created for the the Courtesan au Chocolat pastry featured prominently in the movie.

We know what we’ll be making for our next dinner party.

While Wes might be fond of filming in far-away places, we love that he still has a healthy Southern appreciation for dessert. May we suggest the next movie feature our Honey-Pineapple Upside Down Cake?
