You already know we’re huge fans of Southern-made cast-iron company Lodge. Their pre-seasoned skillets are one of our must-have tools in our Test Kitchen. That’s why we want to give you the perfect fusion of cast-iron and grilling to take with you on camping trips, tailgates, family reunions, hunting retreats, backyard hangouts, baby showers, and wedding anniversaries. The possibilities are endless really.

It’s the Lodge Sportsman Grill, a portable, charcoal grill that’s easy to set up and take with you anywhere. All you have to do is tell us in the comments section how you would use it, and you will be entered for a chance to win one. For official contest rules, click here.

Our family goes on rustic camping trips where we set up camp on state land, not in a campground. We would use this on our trips because it is small and portable!

I love cast iron! I’m a southern girl dealing with the frozen tundra – Minnesota! We are learning to handle the weather and we do grill all year’round! This grill can easily travel and handle those strong northern winds! Bring on them brats and venison steaks!!! Tailgating and fishing at some of these 10,000, lakes here we come!!

I just read where this is about 40 lbs. I might have to put it in my trailer that I tow behind my RoadGlide. Then i can grill up some burgers and brats any place I want.

What a marvelous addition to the grill family! It would be perfect for that quick meal for two or three, or even for one, such as I, who lives alone. For myself it would be perfect for grilling an entire meal on a lazy summer’s eve. How delightful a thought!
