Jackson Browne is one of those rare musicians that truly unites us. Regardless of where you live, what radio station you prefer, or what style of music lives on your shelf, Jackson Browne probably influenced what you hear.
Thus, he was appropriately honored by an album of covers by fans and supporters. The double-disc record, titled Looking Into You: A Tribute to Jackson Browne, includes covers of “Everywhere I Go” by Bonnie Raitt and David Lindley, “Linda Paloma” by Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa, and “Rosie” by Lyle Lovett. It also includes “For Everyman” by Austin singer-songwriter Jimmy LaFave.
“Jackson Browne is still vital and a must listen for me,” LaFave said. “He is still at the top of his game as a songwriter and performer. This tribute record is the cherry on the top. All of the artists reached deep to honor Jackson.”
