What’s the easiest way to pay homage to Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, and June Carter in one sitting? It’s a question only Colony House can answer. The Nashville band, which released its debut record When I Was Younger this past July, is pretty hot right now. Don’t just take our word for it; it’s sitting pretty at number 3 on the Billboard Heatseeker Chart.

Not only is the band having a moment, it also recorded an amazing cover of an amazing cover. No, that’s not a typo. Johnny Cash and June Carter recorded one of the most heartbreaking versions of “It Ain’t Me, Babe” ever played, and Colony House covered that. Well worth a listen, and we’ve got the premiere right here. And be sure to see the band when it tours the South in October.
