Whether you’re packing a picnic lunch or hosting a backyard BBQ for your 4th of July celebration, simplify your preparations with delicious no-cook appetizers. [Disclaimer: Some recipes may need a little blanching of this or boiling of that.]

These quick-prep recipes will keep your kitchen cool:

As flavorful as it is colorful, Green Pea Hummus is a good use for some of that mint that is taking over your garden!

Easy Summer Appetizer Board is complete just as is, but feel free to substitute or add your favorite cured meats, cheeses, and pickles. In this hot weather when appetites are low, you may find this board is enough for a meal.

Because we all know how refreshing a sweet watermelon is on a hot day, make lots of these Herbed Goat Cheese-Melon Party Bites. They will go fast!

A summer picnic is not complete without pimiento cheese-stuffed something. How about pairing it with another Southern favorite, pickled okra?

Along with your burgers, grill some vegetables to serve with this sweet and tangy Orange-Basil Yogurt Dip. This can be made up to three days before your meal.

You can use lots of your tomato and basil harvest in this healthy and colorful Avocado-and-Feta Dip.

These Classic Deviled Eggs never go out of style. Nothing more needs to be said.

Try all of these no-cook appetizers throughout the summer; they are guaranteed to make your party prep just a little easier.
