When we think statement necklace, we think of this funky piece from Twine & Twig.

The Cowrie Collar is handcrafted with shells gathered from Indonesian beaches, meaning that each necklace is unique with varying shell sizes and colors. The pieces are then bound by a local artisan with pineapple leaf fibers, and finished off with soft suede straps.

Rock this boho-chic piece with your favorite blouse as an eye-catching accessory, or instantly glam up a tank top or tee with the collared look. The Cowrie Collar has been spotted on celebs Angie Harmon and Emily Maynard, and retails for $295.

We want to see it on you! Tell us in the comments below how you’d wear this Twine & Twig necklace for a chance to win. Contest runs July 27 through July 31. Official rules and regulations here.

This would be great with a black shirt and jeans. I love Twine and Twig designs and their use of natural elements like antlers and shells. They are very talented and represent the artsy side of Charlotte.

I think this necklace would be awesome with my fall wardrobe. Jeans, an olive green silk tee, and my beloved and well worn quilted motorcycle jacket. A nod to the coast and summer during the cooler months is always a good idea IMHO.

While I agree this necklace lends itself to neutral palette, I think it would look so amazing with vibrant fluorescent colors which are more my personal style- I would pair this with my favorite bright green Line&Dot trapeze dress and a raffia clutch.

My pick is a gauzy linen shirt and a long skirt and sandals……out for dinner and drinks. I’d style it for the beach with a simple black suit and a pareo coverup. I’d love to take it with me on my next vacation to the beach and it would remind me of the beach, sea, sun, sand and fun each and every time it graced my neck. Such a beautiful, fun, stylish and natural piece of jewelry……love the design and the fact that each one is an original.

Wow, what a eye catcher! The possibilities are endless. Immediately I thought of my new black J.Jill dress. But with a simple tee and jeans for August and into fall with a light jacket.
Memories of Galveston and the Bahamas will come flooding back.

Oh how many ways I’d wear this cowrie! From my maxi dresses to chambray tops and white shorts with wedges. This collar needs to go with me to 30A in September and needs to be shown off in the car pool lane!! It may even get layered with my other T &T pieces. Love love Twine and twig!

I’ve long been a fan of Twine & Twig and their aesthetic. The Cowrie Collar is so fitting with their brand and, like many of their pieces, extremely versatile. I would pair the Cowrie Collar with a floor-length gown at a black tie wedding for maximum dramatic impact. My first inclination is to wear it with the long, black organza ball skirt from Haute Hippie’s Fall collection with a simple silk tank and layers of the black bracelets from Twine & Twig’s Fall line.

I think this necklace is beautiful and also that it would look best on my sister🙂 We used to make jewelry from shells and other treasures we found on the beach as kids (nothing as elegant as this) and I still wear them to this day. I’d love to gift this to my sister as a reminder of those great memories.

I’d match this with a crisp, white cotton shirt and fun, tailored shorts with a soft pattern. Some comfy sandals, loose, wavy beach hair and big sunglasses would be a necessity as well as a chilled glass of white wine to finish the look!

I think to do this necklace justice, it needs a black turtleneck behind it to let it shine. Anything else would just be background to the necklace. It’s a beauty on it’s own.
