I would put this beautiful pillow on the deep green velvet reading chair that I share with my dog. It’s her favorite place to nap and she is very respectful of the furnishings and textiles in the house. Dare I say the pillow will look wonderful both against the chair and her fur?

A beautiful pillow like this would be perfect paired with a contemporary side chair. The juxtaposition of old (in style) and new is a beautiful contrasting effect.

I would rotate the pillow in every room in my apartment when I clean weekly. I like the idea that beautiful pieces, such as this gorgeous pillow, can be versatile, and displayed among any decor styles.

Beautiful monogrammed tapestry pillow…it reminds me of our southern weeping willow trees and our palms. My vintage southern cottage would love this elegant pillow in the entry on my vintage pretzel rattan chair next to the entry table and beneath my tropical botanical prints. Or, it would be lovely on my stairs landing on the window seat next to my orchids. I can also picture it on my antique iron bed.

I would pair it on my chaise lounge in my master bedroom. It seems to have the perfect colors and style that would compliment the fabric and simple structure beautifully.

I’d pair it with my daughters nursery rocker. I love the idea of pairing something antique inspired with something as brand new as a baby’s rocker.

This beautiful, subtle and extremely elegant pillow would be the pillow to take center stage on my simple bed. I have an off white bedspread, vintage cotton pillowcases with tatting and this monogrammed pillow would be like the candles on a birthday cake-shining and the center of attention.

I would pair it with my antique round back red velvet couch that I bought on layaway at a flea market in Wetumpka. It has an elegant “fainting couch” feel to it but is classic enough to blend with modern pieces. One heirloom paired with another would be perfect.

This beautiful pillow would look wonderful on the handmade, antique hickory rocking chair that my father bought for my mother many years ago.

I would use it on my brown wicker sofa with a green cushion on my screened porch. It would mix and match well with the pillows that are already there, a mixture of old and new in the same color family. We spend much time there looking out at the Great Smoky Mountains, it is the most used room in the house.

That pillow would go perfectly with my grandmother’s walnut rocking chair. I had it refinished and reupholstered in a beautiful fabric that has burgundy, gold, pale blue, and pink in a lovely old-fashioned diamond pattern that is similar to the original colors in the upholstery. The trim beautifully mirrors the burgundy and gold. This is the second time I reupholstered that lovely chair. The first time was when my three boys were young, so I had to be more practical. This time the chair has come back into its own.

I would set it on my Great Grandfathers rocking chair. My mom bought the black walnut chair in the mid 1960’s at his estate sale. It’s a beautiful chair with many curved details. This pillow has lovely curvy detail that would complement the chair.

I love mixing textiles, as well as styles of furniture so I would not pair this pillow with anything antique. Instead, I would style it placed on the modern styled dark green leather sofa in our den. The juxtaposition of old and new, hard and soft tends to be my style. The den will likely become football central once again in the fall so I might have to put it up for safe keeping from time to time. It’s just too pretty of a pillow to risk!

It would go on my great-grandfather’s bed on top of a quilt my husband’s grandmother made in the 30s.

Its definitely meant for me! Sonjia E. Bell 🙂

Perfect for my formal living room chocolate brown sofa. I have a tapestry that would compliment the mix of colors and a throw on the edge of the sofa that is mixed materials that would look so good with the pillow.

I have a wonderful French tapestry over my couch that my grandparents brought back after World War II that this pillow would pair perfectly! It would ground the room and help bring it together. The tapestry is the same color scheme and would add some interest to my creme colored couch.

I would place this pillow on a sand colored love seat in the sitting area off of my kitchen. It is the place where everyone gathers for a glass of wine while the cook finishes up dinner. It would be so admired and appreciated there.

Put it either on our living couch (ivory with blue, grey and silver tones )or either on one of the side chairs (light blue) – would look great there.

I would put it on a bench in my foyer. It makes a statement of ownership much like the initial often seen hanging on the door. It’s lovely!

In my sunroom, I have an antiqiue chair made out of wood from an old Missouri barn door. I’d pair this beautiful pillow with another pillow in a complimentary color and set them on the chair!

I have an antique “Stickley reproduction” rocking chair that was my Great Uncles from the early 1900’s. A few years ago my husband took the chair apart and re-did the quarter-sawn oak and we had it reupholstered. The look and design of the pillow would be a great addition to the beautiful chair.

On the antique wooden bench facing my kitchen & under two vintage Audubon bird prints that have the same colors as the pillow.
