I loved the kitchen! It is such a warm and inviting place to gather with friends and family. I loved the light and open concept of incorporating the kitchen and dining area together. Absolutely beautiful! I also loved the master bedroom with the beautiful furnishings. I loved the soothing colors that are featured in the bedroom. And what can you say about the huge walk in closet off the master bathroom? This is the first SL Idea house I have visited. Hats off to the whole design team.

I love ALL of the furniture, but one of my favorites is the large oversize soapstone sink in the potting shed! A very nice feature for gardeners like myself!

The design team and Ms Williams did a beautiful job with all the choices they selected. Therefore, I have a number of favorite pieces of furniture from the design home. Starting with the Judd green sofa and the side board flush behind and against the wall. The French inspired arm chair with the leopard print fabric. The awesome Windsor style black bar stools in the beautiful kitchen. The plush blue dining room chairs. In the boys room, I loved the mirror behind the bed. It is so beachy and nautical, reminds me of a ships wheel or a port hole. The unique vintage, industrial soapstone sink in the potting shed..love, love that piece. And, finally the Laural wicker chairs in the screened porch. Man, do not get me started on the non furniture items. Lol…love many…many of the little detail pieces selected. Thanks

What a lovely, comfortable home! Any piece would be a prize, but since I’m picking one, it would be the big table in the foyer. It’s a handsome piece of furniture that would look good in any room in the house. It could hold anything from florals to bath towels and spa supplies to books to small kitchen appliances to ___. You get the picture.

My favorite piece is the kitchen table and those gorgeous navy, tufted, studded chairs. The table is beautifully set and it looks like guests and family can melt into those chairs for settle in for a long, fun dinner with lots of laughter and love!

I like the ottoman in front of the fireplace in the library. Sitting with a fireplace to my back is a comfort in the winter time. The matching chair is also inviting; sit with feet propped up in front of the fireplace is a nice way to start a nap.

My favorite is the eye-catching zigzag side table next to one of the club chairs in the living room. It could be used in many decor styles as well as several room choices. It’s striated wood complements the solid and painted woods in the room too. Transitional, versatile and eye-catching. Can’t beat that.

The blue dining room chairs—hides any minor stains and are classic in design. They also aren’t overtly feminine, giving the room a nice atmosphere for everyone.

I agree with a few of the others — the bed in the master bedroom is the winner.

The house is so full of beautiful furniture, it is almost impossible to pick and choose – so if I had to narrow down my choices – here’s my wish list. It would include – first, those beautiful two upholstered club chairs in the master bedroom – second, those two beautiful upholstered chairs in the living room – third, that beautiful bamboo bed in the boy’s bedroom. Just pack them up and ship to my address (all free of course). Smile : ) ~

I love the built in bookshelves in the man cave. I’d have a whole room of them if I could, just like the library the Beast gave to Belle!

Although it may be considered more of an architectural detail than furniture, I am enamored by the soapstone sink by the back door. Wow. The functionality of it, combined with the beauty of it, has me smitten. Dreaming of my husband washing the vegetables off before bringing them in the house, and the kids washing up before stepping foot in the door. What a concept!

My favorite piece of furniture was the side table that Bunny put the dog bed under. I had never given much thought to where I put our dog beds but her reasoning of making the dogs feel more cozy in a shelter feel (and having them out of the way!) was brilliant! Our side tables are too small for big dog beds so we resulted to one under the kitchen table. Sounds weird, I know, but our boys lay under there all the time now! I’m sure it has nothing to do with the thoughts that they may catch dinner crumbs! The next time I buy side tables, I’m keeping that in mind!

My favorite are the navy blue Bunny Williams upholstered dining room chairs. They look so comfortable and I would imagine they encourage friends and family to stay at the dining table engaged in conversation long after the meal has ended.
