There are few things us Southerners love more than tailgating. Each Wednesday through collegiate football season, we’ll be giving away all the essentials to help you take your tailgate experience to a whole new level. Check back each week and enter for a chance to win!

Every good tailgating crew needs gear to hold onto their reputation. This week, Coleman is helping you claim your turf.

Weather the elements with a Coleman 9 ft. by 7 ft. Instant Canopy. With just three minutes of set-up and welded feet for added stability, this lightweight canopy will shade you through the whole afternoon. When your team’s won, fold it down into a compact, wheeled bag that fits easily in most cars.

Have a seat with two (2) Coleman Aluminum Deck Chairs with Swivel Tables. Not only is there a convenient spot for your drink, the swivel tables can hold up to ten pounds of premium tailgating goodies. Sit comfortably with the chair’s padded back, seat, and arm rests, and then fold up for easy, one-hand transport.

We love this collapsible Coleman Pack-Away Kitchen! For all the grilling you plan on accomplishing, let this compact table and storage space simplify your cooking. It’s got utensil hooks, snap-on food prep surfaces, and even a spot to hang your lantern.

Where’s your favorite tailgating spot? Comment below for a chance to win. Official rules here.

Tiger Lane at the Liberty Bowl Stadium down the street from The University of Memphis!! We may have an off campus stadium, but we have changed tailgating over the years. I tailgated across the street 20 years ago while in college. We sat in the public park because there were no other places to set up.

Now, we have an amazing place for all fans to enjoy called Tiger Lane. The team and cheerleaders parade through on the way into the stadium. Tom the Tiger holds court. Tents are set up with tons of fans who remember the old days when we sat in the park to cookout. Kids throw footballs while parents catch up.

It’s the best of the city sitting in one area on a Saturday. We’ve only had Tiger Lane for a few years now, but we appreciate it so very much.

My husband went to UW in Seattle, WA. Husky fans tailgate in boats in lake Washington outside the stadium. By far the most unique way to tailgate and I think it’s the best tailgating spot in America!

Because we are often there all day, it helps ups us save money and brings the team member’s families closer together we tailgate at the kids’ baseball and soccer away games and high school tennis matches. Locations differ across the city. Regional games are the most fun because people come from all over..

We like to pitch our tent on either the south or west side of Boone Pickens stadium so we can be part of “The Walk”. It’s more than just a walk, it’s more like a parade. A loud, exciting parade that gets EVERYONE pumped up. A few hours before the game, the buses that carry the players and coaches pull in about ¼ mile from the stadium. We (and many other fans) line both sides of Hester Street as they make their procession to the stadium. The OSU marching band plays the fight song and we cheer them on to victory! Go Pokes!
