There are few things us Southerners love more than tailgating. Each Wednesday through collegiate football season, we’ll be giving away all the essentials to help you take your tailgate experience to a whole new level. Check back each week and enter for a chance to win!

Trekking from tailgate to stadium may not be such a feat for the warmer September games, but can become a bit more challenging in cold mid-November. This week, our friends at Alabama Outdoors want to keep your toes warm with a pair of Hunter Women’s Original Boots and Boot Socks.

Known for their durability (and being the most stylish rain boots around), these glossy Hunter Women’s Boots are made of natural rubber with a sturdy sole and quick-dry interior lining. Pick from red, black, grey and blue boots, in sizes 6 through 10. Wear them as-is, or add another layer of comfort with the Hunter Boot Socks, which feature a cute fold-over knit top. Choose Boot Socks in red, grey, green or black in sizes small through large.

Tell us about your old stomping grounds. Comment below for a chance to win. Official Rules here.

My old stomping grounds would be in Houston, Texas. Well that’s where I was born atleast. We moved to Alabama when I was very little. But I would love to go back and visit Houston in style with some super cute shiney HUNTER RAINBOOTS! I am also a huge Alabama fan and would adore getting to wear them to any of the rainy day football games to make the day more enjoyable!

My old, and current, stomping grounds are here in Mobile at the University of South Alabama! I chose to stay in my home town to attend college and haven’t regretted it at all to this day! These rain boots would help me tremendously with tromping through the rain to class, and it doesn’t hurt that they are super cute either!

My old stomping grounds are University of Cincinnati in Ohio. Being a California native, when I first got to the Midwest I didn’t own boots, a coat, a jacket or an unbrella (true story 😬). I quickly learned that flip flops wouldn’t cut it! The weather would all in the same week, go from warm, cold, freezing and not to mention snow. Whoever was smart and cool had Hunter boots, because they were always stylishly prepared for that wild Midwest weather, could stay out and tailgate all day, which was the thing to do at my college. I still, To this day I have always wanted a pair of yellow hunter boots. Then I could wear them tailgating and finally be apart of the cool crowd!

I’m a UVA alum so my old stomping grounds was the beautiful lawn. I’d do my homework there, pre-game with friends, have late night walks with friends and just be able to think out there🙂

My old stomping grounds are here at UAB . I’m a student here and the weather changes every day here in Alabama! I’ve been needing some new rain boots as mine have holes in them! These would be perfect for the snow days to come and the rain we get frequently!🙂

While I’m now stomping around the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of VA, my old stomping grounds were the hot, humid, flat lands of South GA. Beautiful in their own way, but not as well-suited for Hunter boots. 🙂

As a parent of three college students, these boots would be great for stomping around tailgates at Mississippi State, Clemson, or my Alma Mater, Ole Miss!

Tailgating at LSU can always be adventurous. Thar one time a tropical storm blew in & I was completely drenched….could have used these boots. At least my feet would have been dry!

The wonderful thing about stomping grounds is that they live on in one’s heart long after the moment has passed so that every time we share with family or friends we are celebrating our history and our present and our future all at once! My stomping grounds are my mother’s garden, my childhood summer days in Maine, my college quad where I kissed a boy for the very first time, the Florida shores where I learned to swim and sun and eat oranges while still in their rinds and when walking hurriedly through New York City on my way to meet pals at a cafe – wherever I am while making a memory or connecting with someone I love or like or am even just trying to understand.

My old stomping grounds are along the coast of South Carolina. With the beautiful beaches along Charleston from Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms and Folly Beach, we sure do have a lot of fond memories here. What would I do without boots during the fall flooding? Staying above water now.

The Classic City (aka Athens, GA) is my old stomping ground! My time at the University of Georgia was the most memorable time of my life thus far — and made that much better by awesome football tailgating!🙂

As an Alabama newbie – this will be my second winter – I could really use a pair of Hunter boots. Having moved from north Florida, where there was rain but little cold, I did not come prepared. I love the outdoors and the opportunity to enjoy four real seasons. I’d like it even better if my toes were cozied up, warm and dry, in a pretty red pair of Hunter boots!

Love the Hunter boots I have… But sure would love the grey pair. I wear mine to Bama games…Talledega … Around the farm in Vernon. I am not sure I can have enough of them. The sock liners are an excellent addition as well.
    Thanks for the give away….
