8 Tailgate Giveaway, Week 8: $300 to Feed The Party

Raise your pom poms, Southerners – it’s time for football in the South! Give us a Saturday,  the SEC, and a tall glass of sweet tea (or bourbon) and you can find us at the tailgate, cheering on our favorite teams. In honor of this fall tradition, we’re going to be giving away items every Wednesday that’ll take your tailgate party-throwin’ to the next level.

Regardless of your team’s winning record, in the South, having a loaded tailgate spread of food – like juicy burgers or steaks – makes you a winner among your friends. Forgo the chips and salsa in favor of something a little more substantial: a party box from the grilling experts at Feed the Party.

One lucky winner will have their pick of the premium meats (and other packages!) available online and shipped directly to his or her doorstep just in time for game day. Choose from grass-fed burgers, filet mignon, pork chops, lamb racks, beef brisket, bacon sausage, whole chickens, and many more crowd-pleasing options.

What’s your favorite food to munch on at the tailgate? Comment below for a chance to win. Official rules here.

Me and my friends look forward to every weekend loading up my dad’s custom barbeque grill and heading to our favorite spot to throw a variety of meats on the pit to tailgate! Hot-blooded football passion runs through the veins of most everyone who lives in Texas, my family is no different!…HaHa We love to munch on smoked brisket, Bacon wrapped jalapenos shrimp, Ranch burgers, barbeque chicken legs, BEVOrzo salad (made in honor of our mascot Bevo), homemade green onion sausage, Rolled & grilled dove breast appetizers, Venison chili, spicy dove poppers, Hot German potato salad and New Orleans dove gumbo! Everyone always expects my Bourbon brownies with pecans and my aunt’s recipe of freshly made guacamole at every tailgate!
I keep a storage container ready to go filled with essentials like sunscreen, hand cleansing wipes, water bottle/ tongs for the grill, salt, pepper, TexJoy seasoning, trash bags, paper goods and paper towels that I bring to every game! #HOOKEM #GOHORNSGO

Attending a football game just isn’t complete without the delicious tailgating food leading up to it! Some of my favorite foods to munch on before the game are Smokin’ sweet chicken wings, Maryland crab cakes, Zummo party time links, Loaded Velveeta cheese dip, Maple bacon beer burgers and lots of desserts! Many of our friends have young kids so we always have pizza bites, hot dogs and juice packs for them so they feel like they are apart of the tailgating group with finger foods they like to eat! A couple of iced down coolers of craft beers, bottled iced tea, cokes and water bottles are a must too! #Tailgatetothefinishline

The best tailgate is bar-b-que, sweet potato casserole, cole slaw, vidalia onion dip and don’t forget the brownies!

OH yes SEC football, THE south, family, friends, fanatic fantastic fans, cold beer and FOOD graciousness!

Well we or I do things a bit different here in the swamp! Yeah, I’m a Gator fan for years.

We have typical tailgating sides..BUT, my starring attraction and fave food by one and all is serving up our opponents on heavy laden platters. Literally and figuratively!

    Say what! Okay..I’ll explain.

As my beloved Gators are tearing up the field..eating up the opposing team so are we.

If we are playing our foe The Bulldogs..we are chomping on grilled chili cheese dogs!
If we are playing our foe The Razorbacks we are destroying a piggy..usually southern pulled pork BBQ.

Another week it will be the Tides turn..we will roll over some fried po boys or fish fry hush puppies.

My Tiger fudge is always a favorite of everyone!

    So on and so on.
Oh snap! It’s all in good fun..football and food!
