Raise your pom poms, Southerners – it’s time for football in the South! Give us a Saturday,  the SEC, and a tall glass of sweet tea (or bourbon) and you can find us at the tailgate, cheering on our favorite teams. In honor of this fall tradition, we’re going to be giving away items every Wednesday that’ll take your tailgate party-throwin’ to the next level.

In the South, we hate cold feet. While we would never get cold feet about cheering on our home teams, we sometimes get cold feet while cheering on the Vols, the Tigers, the Gators, the Tide, etc. As winter comes, even the South sees its fair share of chilly rain during football games. And, there’s nothing more day-ruining than wet socks in a stadium full of peanut shells.

The one lucky winner of this week’s giveaway will never have to worry about cold, wet feet again. We’ve partnered with the trusty folks at Alabama Outdoors to offer a pair a stylish and functional Hunter Women’s Original Tall Boots and one pair of Hunter Cable Boot Socks, perfect for rainy game days now, and April showers down the road. These tall, glossy boots are made of natural rubber with a quick-dry lining, so you won’t have to fear any puddles.

Describe your perfect game day. Comment below for a chance to win. Official rules here.

My perfect game day is dressing up to support my team. Making yummy snacks and screaming my heart out when my team wins!

A perfect game day starts with a rustling wind brushing through the Stately Oaks. Tailgating with friends on the parade ground by memorial tower. The alma mater ringing through campus at noon. Hearing the Golden Band from Tiger Land march down Victory Hill. Shouting GEAUX TIGERS all day long! Chowing down on jambalaya and kolaches. Entering Death Valley with all my tiger fans and cheering with all we’ve got! Win our lose, the traditions make this the best game day ever on the campus I call home!

The perfect gameday for me means being warm and dry, no matter what the weather, so that I can fully appreciate the day and cheer on my team at the stadium, with no wishing I was home watching on TV.

I absolutely love going to my local high school football games and cheering on our team in the stands. I buy a cocoa or coffee at the concession stand and sit on the bench with other people from our small town watching and supporting our players. Everyone usually knows most of the people sitting next to them. I love the late games under the lights on a chilly night! These nights always remind me of when I was in High school and attending the games. It is always so much fun to be apart of such a great night!
