Amy Grant has been a household name in my family for years. At Christmas, especially as kids, we celebrated each season with Amy’s 1992 “Grown Up Christmas List” playing softly in the background. “Breath Of Heaven” reminds me of cozy Christmas Eves sipping tea by the fire. Needless to say, when Amy announced her first all-new holiday album in nearly 20 years, my mom immediately added the album to her Christmas wish list.
And, it’s very clear why. Amy Grant has a voice that reminds you of home. She has the voice that a family makes memories around. Her new title track, “Tennessee Christmas,” is one of those songs that you’ll want to put on repeat while you’re baking up a batch of sugar cookies.
In Amy’s words: “I have spent so many Christmas seasons touring from coast to coast, but nothing feels better at Christmastime than coming home to Tennessee.”
We are thrilled to premiere the lyric video of “Tennessee Christmas” from Amy Grant’s new Tennessee Christmas album. (And, be on the lookout for our interview with Amy coming soon!) We hope you enjoy as much as we do. Click below to watch.
