Jingle Bells! We go caroling every year and have since I was a tiny kiddo. Jingle Bells has always been my favorite because it’s just so CHEERY and FUN! 🙂

Silver Bells is my favorite Christmas song. I remember playing it in church every Christmas Eve with my mom, aunt and grandfather, our 3 generation family flute choir. To quote the song, “in the air there’s a feeling of Christmas” and I love playing this song on my flute and filling the air with the sound of Christmas.

My favorite Christmas song is “Mele Kalikimaka” by Bing Crosby. Kacey sings it on this album! It reminds me of my favorite Christmas movie, “Christmas Vacation.” 🙂

A favorite Christmas song of mine is “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” which has a completely different meaning for me as an adult than it did as a child. At first, I didn’t realize I would get to grow up and kiss Santa whenever I want!

Oh Holy Night is my all time favorite. The lyrics capture the true meaning of Christmas.

Do you hear what I hear? – I have a childhood memory of driving through snowy mountainside roads with my mom and sisters with this song on the radio. Beautiful.

We Three Kings, because we had to sing it in elementary school. Even though I was a girl I had to be a wise man in the Christmas play since I was tall and so I got to sing part of the song. It brings back memories of old childhood friends!

When I was in middle school, I turned on my Alabama Christmas cassette tape the day after Christmas and played it non stop until the new year. My younger brothers got so sick of it that one year they stole it and destroyed it with a hammer. I had no idea. Then 12 years later when I was home for Christmas from graduate school, they gave me a new Alabama tape explaining that they had always felt guilty for their behavior. The song I played the most from that tape was Christmas in Dixie.

It’s hard to pick on, but probably “Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas”. The song speaks to people in so many different situations.

One of my favorites is “Tennessee Christmas” because we had to perform it in grade school!
