Every year, we dig out our Christmas sweaters, find the mistletoe and hit the road to shoot our favorite holiday products at a few of our favorite iconic locations around the South.  This year was no exception as we packed up the Southern Living Holiday Collection, exclusively at Dillard’s, and headed to Barnsley Resort for a weeklong shoot on location at their in their historic ruins, gardens and English-inspired village located in Northwest Georgia. We set up over five Christmas trees, with over 600 lights, over 200 ornaments and several yards of ribbon in a variety of locations around the resort, both indoors and out.

The weeklong shoot gave us the opportunity to showcase our products in some of the resort’s charming cottages, within the 19th century manor house ruins, and on various parts of the Barnsley Resort grounds. Along for the journey, our beautiful Golden Retriever model, Brady,  was pampered with pet-friendly accommodations and welcome access to many of the resort’s offerings. Brady rode in style around the property via golf cart and was able to experience the cottage, the manor house ruins, hiking trails, fire pits and even outdoor dining.

Every year, the resort’s historic ruins, village, guest reception and event spaces, and even restaurants (including the farmhouse-inspired Rice House) are decorated for the holiday season.  This year you can enjoy Barnsley Resort  as much as we did.
