Great fun.
Love it .
My first wedding gift 50 years ago was one of my grandmothers cast Iron skillet that I still use today .breakfast & many pans of cornbread would not be the same without them! Thank you Granny!
Reminds me of a nostalgic time of life…quiet…comfortable…that creates a longing for more of the past.
Love the old and new working together.
DailySouth & southernLiving This is GREAT Love your sharing!Thank you for a Dreary February, my birth month!
The room has a feel of wanting to sit back with a cup coffee and enjoy ~ yet makes you want to start baking some scones to go with it and then call a friend to come join you….
I even have bakeware with holes in them,so I would love this stuff!
I live in my paternal great grandfathers house, built in 1893! 30 yrs. ago, the kitchen was the last room for us to “remodel” and/or update. With a limited budget at the time, we did what we could. I still have the same sink, same cabinets, and same pantry area. Any part of a redo/update is now due. Using Southern Living website for kitchen ideas has really helped us. As well as any one of these products would really help—case and point, a new kitchen sink! This idea is really great for your readers as well as internet users! Thank you!
wanna win…fun, fun
I live in a 120yr old farmhouse and have raised both of my sons and took care of my mother here until she lost her battle with cancer. Every room has fond memories and like most old houses most rooms could use a little work. To say that the sink would be awesome in my kitchen would be an understatement.
My happiest baking time was every Thanksgiving. My Children and grandchildren (eleven of them)would come to nana’s house for dinner. I would premake the small gingerbread houses, and after the dinner and before the dessert we would decorate them. A large white plastic tablecloth was put on the table and a big supply of frosting was made. They all had a great time showing there decorating skills. They would take them home and enjoy them during the holiday season. Many would then place them outside for the birds. Most are grown now, some in college, but we still talk about the gingerbread houses and look back at the pictures.
I loveitizen and Paula Deen’s kitchen because she has 2 ovens and a lot of work space. I am a senior citizen and have been watching her since she first came on TV. Her new house is so lovely, especially her kitchen .
Love to cook and what better way than a gadget!
I love these giveaways!
Anything to help me cook and bake with ease will be a plus.
How do I enter the contest?
I live in the South, and what would a kitchen be without cast iron skillets for cornbread along with sausage gravy on Sunday mornings. They may be a bit awkward for those not accustomed to using them, but I would never be in the kitchen without one or two of them.
Do you know how I enter this contest? I can’t seem to find an entry form . . . .
As children with close relationships to our grand parents and great grand parents we always spent time cooking and baking with them .On Sundays for dinner together or for holiday grand celebrations. Our “Great ” was the oldest of 10 and was an exceptional baker.Every Christmas she made ceramic plates full of cookies and candies for friends and family. We were off of school and were enlisted to help.Rolling the candy strawberries in red sugar or sifting powered sugar over the baked pecan “snowball” cookies. She kept the wonderful treats in tins in another room so when we had a chance we would sneak in to sample the fares. What fun it was and how much we learned from those wonderful times doing
something nice for others.
I am moving in two months and need every item you are giving away. Forget the house warming.
I have lived in my house for over 15 years and it seems everytime I was ready to redo or buy something new and exciting for the Kitchen, something else would come up. I am now divorced and kids are grown. I am now ready to do get all kinds of new things for the kitchen.
This is such a great contest!!! Great and wonderful products and it has introduced me to products that I did not know about. I just absolutely love to read all the comments, stories and ides; very informative and just great fun. One thing is for sure, I would have a very hard time picking all the winners.
I imagine so since there is no place to click “ENTER” contest.
Wish I had known about the contest sooner. Looks like there are some great prizes and my home could sure use some of these products.
Why can’t I find the Stand mixer, any one. TIA
have Winners been announced or notified? cant find the rules.
