    I want a kitchen that is comfortable and inviting. Where kids can do homework and friends can gather to enjoy conversation and good food. A kitchen where guests feel comfortable helping themselves to snacks/drinks/food.

    I would like to have a medium sized kitchen with more cabinet space and all those neat storage spaces and things yall take about in your magazine. A beautiful sink with this faucet with a window to look out. I would also love to have an island in the middle of my kitchen with some very comfortable bar stools to sit in. A beautiful light to hang over the island.I would love to have so many more electrical outlets. A nice light and exhaust system over my stove.

    I would love to have a shabby chic kitchen, complete with custom cabinets, trim pieces and coverings. I would love a huge island with a hibachi style grill, granite countertops, breakfast nook, and beautiful works of art surrounding. I would love to have top of the line appliances as well. 🙂

    Have never had a really efficient new kitchen and now that we finally have a place of our own (bought a more than 30 year old mobile home 7 years ago) would love a kitchen with plenty of space so if either of us (we are both 65) get in a position to need walkers or wheel chairs can get around easy to cook, clean etc, thanks for chance!!!

    My dream kitchen is a shabby chic/traditional style kitchen. I love all types and stains of wood and white washed accessories. My dream kitchen would have a large stainless refrigerator to fit all of the milk my husband uses each week! He LOVES cereal!
    I want an open layout with cabinets made like furniture with a claw foot design (it is all in the details!). A stainless gas stove, with a wood hood and beautiful rock backsplash. To add more texture and color, a deep hammered copper sink would be the focal point. To tie in the copper, above my island, I would love a thick wrought iron pot rack to hang old fashioned copper pots and pans. I would love a gas fireplace framed with rock and a rustic mantle (to hang more stockings during christmas) and a small seating nook at the opposite end of the kitchen. I love to cook, and I I love being with my family and friends. This layout would allow me to have the best of both worlds!

    My dream kitchen would be new or refinished dark wood cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a beautiful Moen faucet to accent the deep stainless steel sink! Aww but to dream!

    My dream kitchen is full of laughter and the smell of good food where everyone is pitching in. I would love to have pots and pans hanging above an island with seating around the back side for friends and family. An AGA duel fuel range and oven. A retro looking fridge. Instead of cabinets, I would have shelves with exposed dishware, etc. Lots of natural light. And everyone would feel free to make themselves comfortable to get whatever they wanted. A cake or pie always on a clear glass covered cake stand. And my grandmother who passed away 2 years ago would be there trying everything as we are cooking and discussing recipes and ingredients. I miss you MeMaMa.

    My dream kitchen would be the largest room in the house. I loved the SL kitchens from the February magazine, and I especially loved the one with the aqua cabinets. That is my dream kitchen. It is open, airy, welcoming, and looks comfortable. I would make it a little bigger. Being a traditional Southern gal, I have lots of dinner parties, birthday parties, host many events in my kitchen, so I would love for it to be a large space to have even larger parties. I love to cook, but I make one heck of a mess– lots of counterspace is a definite for me. I also dream about having an island with a wine refrigerator, dishwasher, a sink so that the rest of the counterspace can just be for cabinets and storage. I also want a huge traditional farmhouse table with benches. I have always dreamed of this even before it became “trendy” and in the stores. My father grew up with a farmhouse table, and I love hearing stories from his childhood that took place at that table. And finally, I want a large French Door Frigidaire refrigerator professional.

    The “bones” of my kitchen are just fine! Just a little sprucing up is all it needs. It’s open, has more than enough storage, and the food that comes out if it is divine 😉 Like everyone else, money is tight so there will be no immediate renovations – and I can live with that. I guess the dreamiest kitchen I can image is a little of this and that from all my pins on pinterest. Southern sophistication with a splash of urban flair.

    We are in the process of planning to build a new home out on a family farm. The house overlooks an 80 acre lake, so great views and windows are a must. The plan in my head is for large steel doors off the kitchen, and big windows in front of a farmhouse sink. We recently came across some beautiful old beams from a friend that came from another local farmhouse that had been torn down. We purchased those with the idea of having exposed beams in the ceiling of the kitchen overhead. I am thinking of white marble counter tops and white subway tile backsplash, but with a gray grout to give it a little patina. I am also a HUGE found of open shelving. We have beautiful white dinnerware from Skyros that we recevied in the last two years after being married, and it is just too pretty to hide. The floors will also be a dark reclaimed wood to balance out the white of the kitchen and add to the rustic charm. I LOVE to cook and entertain, so lots of counterspace is a must. I have been picking up all sorts of new ideas for shelving/drawers/organization as I go to keep my gadgets and appliances out of the way and organized. And I almost forgot the center island! I love how an island provides not only extra prep and sink space, but it also becomes the hub of where guests gather during dinner parties as the last details are set in the kitchen. Fingers crossed!!

    I have a 1970’s contemporary house, and my dream kitchen would be a Danish contemporary masterpiece. Wide, opening windows looking out on our courtyard and gardens. Expansive sleek wood cabinetry, some with open fronts. All sleek, angular, and stunning!

    My dream kitchen would have/be:
    * HUGE
    * Lots of storage in cabinets, pantries, under the cabinets, over the fridge, etc.
    * Grow lights, so I can grow herbs and start my garden plants inside
    * Vermicomposter
    * Lever near floor, so I can run water in the sink without touching the faucet with my hands
    * Huge fridge
    * Tile floor
    * Small TV
    * Huge gas stove w/grill, steamer, rotisserie, and two ovens
    * Place to safely store part of garden harvest
    * Stone countertops
    * An island with lots of working space
    * A way for my smaller appliances to descend from an upper cabinet, already plugged in, on a sturdy base. That way I can use the appliance and then return it to the cabinet easily, without moving. The appliances won’t clutter my counter space either.

    I would love to have a large kitchen with cherry cabinets and granite tops. I love lots of storage so I don’t have to take my applianes to the basement when I am not using them, or not have to be sitting on the counter. I would love to have it with a big island so the kids could sit at the island while I am cooking and talk with me. I would love to have it incorporated with a fireplace and sitting chairs so while I am cooking family can be close by. Huge panty, Double built in oven. Sleek fixtures. oh the possibilities are endless of my wishlist. I am not fancy, I like functional but where I can be with family and friends while I am doing what I love.

    My dream kitchen is a place where my family gathers, food is prepared, and memories are made. It’s not really about the cabinets or the countertops or the appliances, those desires are transient; but the art of living well lasts forever. Isn’t that what Moen is about? Producing quality tools with a lifetime warranty that help make living my life better.

    My dream kitchen would be looking at a view of the mighty Ohio River surrounded by the Hoosier National Forest while sitting in my warm and inviting kitchen drinking my morning cup of Joe. Stainless steel appliances embraced with the granite countertops. Hickory cabinets with smooth pull out drawers on the lower cabinets and beautiful glass inserts for the top. Hardware by Liberty Hardware. Back splash would be a small glass tile. I would like a big stainless steel sink. I would use the faucet that I win here on the Southern Living website because it is beautiful. I prefer a gas stove for even cooking. It would be stainless steel. Stainless steel microwave would be above the stove. The counter behind the stove would have a water faucet for filling those large pots. I would want two ovens, both stainless as well. Refrigerator would be a side by side at the top with a drawer at the bottom. I would want a large pantry to store our canned goods from our vegetable garden. There would be another small area in the pantry to house brooms, mops, vacuum cleaners, large pots, pressure-cooker, crock pots, etc. There would be an island in the middle which is rich black that would be used for preparing the food. It would include a book shelf on the end for cookbooks and on the other end a wine rack with only the best California and French wines. There would also be an eating area on the island. Bar stools by Restoration Hardware. The floor would be honey maple flooring. Throw rugs provided by Pottery Barn or Clay & Cotton. Recessed lighting and pendant lights would adorn the space. The ceiling would have an offset where the island is located. Wall art would be some rod iron pieces and beautiful paintings. I would also showcase my husband’s artistic ability with his gourd pieces in a cabinet customized for this with lighting. Curtains would be custom made. There would be a space for charging cell phones, Kindles and computers. I would want a beautiful bowl in the middle of the island for fresh fruit.

    The kitchen of my dreams begins with a light-filled room overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, an azure pool and outdoor fireplace. Welcoming this view include warm cherry cabinets, sleek stainless appliances and Koehle stovetop, two ample ovens for preparing tasty Thanksgiving meals, Mohr kitchen faucet and taupe-veined granite counters on curved breakfast island for serving buffets, glistening modern drop lights shining atop a round glass table with beige tile flooring softened with Mediterranean pottery, woven rugs, and exquisite paintings.

    Reclaimed wood floors, vintage freestanding cabinets…no built ins, farmhouse sink, wolf stove in a bright color, lots of butcher block countertops and mosaic tile back splashes. I would love a large wooden table, with brightly colored and mismatched chairs, a knotted or braid rug, vintage lighting fixtures, and lots of interesting pieces hung on the walls

    My dream gourmet kitchen would consist of:
    – Brazilian Cherry Cabinets
    – an artfully crafted Wood Hood
    – Appliances framed in and with decorative fluted columns
    – Heavy Gauge Stainless Stell Sink
    – Moen Faucet
    – Italian Carrara Marble (countertop)
    – Polished Mosaic Tiles of Michaelangelo Marble (backsplash)
    – Walk in Pantries (1 for food and 1 for Pots & Catering Tools)
    – High Coffered Ceiling
    – Plenty of Natural Light
    – Beautiful Hardwood Flooring

    A large open space for family gatherings. For the kitchen is often the centerpiece of a house, where conversations linger in the aroma of each baked cake,a place where families bond.

    Cabinets – Earthy, solid looking, deep, natural grain, brushed nickel fixtures
    Cookware – Blue with enamel coatings inside, quality

    The kitchen of my dreams would be spacious, but inviting, with plenty of creamy, white, wood cabinets and dark marble countertops. The center island would have the feel of a much-loved piece of furniture with wood top and seating for 6. There would be a stainless steel commercial 6 burner stove and hood and double ovens to handle the holiday workload. The well organized, walk-in pantry makes all the ingredients easy to find. The double fridge would be hidden with a cabinet facade. Dark wood floors add warmth and comfort under foot. A window over the sink and the windows surrounding the kitchen’s dining alcove let in an abundance of gorgeous light. During the day the sunlight would reflect off the glass front cabinets and gleaming surfaces. At night, task lighting and a plentitude of overhead recessed lights, make the kitchen a warm, well-lit, bustling hub. Jazz music plays over the hidden speaker system. During dinner, the old world chandelier adds a bit of glimmer and makes the space more intimate. After the friends have left and the kids have gone to sleep, a smaller matching chandelier over the kitchen sink offers enough ambiance lighting as my husband and I wash the dishes with our Kiran Faucet by Moen and discuss the day. The maid, of course, will finish in the morning…. this is a dream, right?

    I’d love to win this new faucet mine broke over a year ago. haven’t been able to afford a new one yet. The faucet extension that pulls out broke off so I have to use the hose part and tie it back to keep the water for flying all over the house.

    I’m feeling very sleepy, ZZZZZZZZZZ….. I’m walking into my kitchen with brick walls, pegged wood floors and creamy white cabinets to prepare brunch. I enter my walk in pantry for my spices. I open my glass front commercial fridge for the eggs and butter. I reach for my omelette pan hanging from a rustic pot rack. I turn on the front burner of my retro-style gas range. The bread is baking in my wood fired wall oven. I’m rinsing my fresh picked veggies in my farmhouse sink with my beautiful sleek pulldown faucet. I have set the large wood topped kitchen island with my mix-matched dishes. My dog barks and as I look out my arched kitchen window I see my guests have arrived,,,

    my dream kitchen is one that is actually finished. We started tearing ours down 3 years ago and it’s still like that. Old backsplash and flooring are gone. I stare at ripped dry wall and wooden floorboards every day. I would love to have my new flooring installed, new dry wall hung, ceiling redone, room painted, new resin kitchen sink with great new faucet and granite countertops. I would love to get my flat top stove instead of mine with 2 burners that don’t always work.

    First off my dream kitchen would have LOTS of cabinets in a dark cherry wood – a simple yet elegant design. You can never have enough space or pantries after all. I love clean counter tops so I need space to hide all the can openers, toasters, mixers, etc. I love the turquoise colors for kitchen walls right now with white accent pieces and brushed nickel finish on the hardware. A big double farmhouse sink would be ideal and of course a huge Viking professional gas stove and double wall ovens! I need a large island in the middle with lots of space for cooking/baking, a small sink, and plenty of seating at the island for friends and family while I’m cooking. I also need a dishwasher. If we’re talking dream kitchen then I need a wine fridge and the faucet at the stove to fill the pots! And of course to top it all off this faucet at my sink!

    I need to win the lottery…

    My dream kitchen would consist of an island in the middle of the kitchen with pots hanging from the ceiling and a stainless steel refrigerator and lots of open windows, with some roman shades, so the natural light can come in. I love indoor windowboxes with double sinks and a little rinse sink for the veggies and fruit with arched shaped faucets. The stove would be nice to have with gas burners and a festive design with a stainless steel hood. I also would like the microwave to be above the stove and of course a bistro table for dining. A nice light pastel color on the wall and a skylight or two to go with the pattern. I would also like ceramic tile counter tops and a nice lite pattern of squares for the lineolium floor to soften the look of the kitchen. And last but not least a dishwasher.

    Dreamiest would be an oven that made perfectly moist cupcakes, a stove that boiled water in seconds and never boiled over, and a dish washer that loaded and unloaded itself! But idealistically I would love a kitchen where plenty of light flooded in on an exposed brick wall. On another wall would be a chalkboard painted wall to doodle and jot down ideas and recipes. The appliances would all be stainless steel next to butcher block countertops. Venturing on dreamy, I would love love love heated bamboo floors. I would never leave the kitchen!

    My husband & I are buying my daughters barn house. The kitchen faucet is leaking & needs replaced. This would be the perfect faucet because the sink has one hole for the faucet. It would look great with the farm sink in the kitchen. I would definitely love to win this faucet!!!!

  43. Samantha Williams

    Wispy blue/gray simple cabinets with glass doors. Wood block countertops that are a warm walnut hue. A marble top baking station/table near the range that breaks up the cabinets. Butlers pantry with wire baskets for storing non-fridge veggies and shelves for jars filled with pasta, grains, flours, spices, dried beans, etc. A found piece of furniture or antique converted into an island with industrial style stools. 3 large doublehung wood windows over the 2 compartment wall mounted farmhouse sink with a higher ledge at the center window for potted herbs looking out to a shady lush backyard covered with peonies, camelias, hydrangeas, dahlias and veggie garden. There’s a large outdoor wooden table made from aged scrape wood, but that’s outside…back to inside. A scalloped range hood over the side by side double oven with wall mounted faucet to fill pots. Natural stone backsplash. Maybe a subway tile or something with a little more depth and texture. Ahhhh I’m day dreaming at my desk 🙂 Back to work.

    I would love a big, open kitchen where family and friends could gather to socialize while meals are being prepared. LOTS of storage space a definite. I love corner cabinets that are like “lazy susans”, where everything is easily accessible. I also love rich looking dark cranberry cabinets with stainless satin knobs and drawer pulls. I would love a beautiful faucet, such as this one, to complement the pulls. In addition, an attractive backsplash that would truly pull together the whole look!

    I love to cook and entertain for family and friends. My dream kitchen is open to the family room to allow for conversation, has a wall of windows for plenty of natural light, natural wood floors, white wood cabinets with pewter or brushed nickel pulls, and a matte stone countertop with undermount sink (I’m thinking quartz for the counter, not sure of the color). A simple tile (possibly muted mosaic) backspash would be perfect. Would love a 6 burner gas stove, double wall oven, walk in pantry, wine refrigerator, and an island with a prep sink and plenty of counterspace to allow for prep work, serving, and for people to gather around and chat.

    I would love a large kitchen with granite counter tops and a middle island. The kitchen would be furnished with all stainless steel appliances and at the island you could sit there and eat. It should be spacious and have different cooking station….area for baking, an indoor grill to bring the outside in. From the ceiling my pots would hang for easy access. A Place where meals of love can be created.

    Big! lots of counter tops. At the back of the counter top I would love to have a “garage” for all those appliances you use a lot but would rather not leave out on the counter (eg stand mixer, bread machine, sandwich grill/griddle, crock pot, etc.) so you could keep them neatly stored out of sight, but within easy arm’s reach. At the back of that cabinet would be plenty of electrical outlets for them. The stove would be 6-burner. The oven would be double, as would the microwave. The upper cabinets would have pull down shelves (since I’m short!) and the lower cabinets would have pull out shelves so you don’t have to kneel to get to the stuff in the back. There would be plenty of drawers, too! There would be a pull out spice rack with LOTS of space for spices. Silent dishwasher is a MUST as is a HUGE refrigerator. Oh, I could go on and on!!

    I would love to have a big country style kitchen using western decor, lots of brown and turquoise colors. A island with a large gas stove and work area on both sides. Lots of cabinets with lazy susan in each corner cabinets top and bottom. Roll out shelves on all the lower cabinets. A large walk-in pantry. Black & stainless steel appliances. Ceramic tile flooring and granite countertop. Plate rail all around the top of the cabinet area to display my mother’s hand painted china. Lots of windows .

    A big open kitchen with an exposed brick wall, a chalkboard frame so the kids can write on it, grey countertops with plenty of room to prep; stainless steel appliances, lots of windows…a big one over the kitchen sink. A shelf over the sink so I can grow herbs. Accents of red and blue to match the grey.
