In our Atlanta Summer in the South guide, the ever-stylish blogger Mattie James let us in on her insider tips for the best places to catch a sunset, cool off, and sip a cocktail this summer in The Big Peach. To live like a chic local for a day follow Mattie’s itinerary for the perfect day in the city: Start with brunch and mimosas at West Egg CafĂ©, then head to The Clothing Warehouse in the Little Five Points district for some thrifty vintage shopping. End your day with a walk through the Historic Fourth Ward Park (it’s gorgeous and relatively unknown), and if it’s raining catch an exhibit at the High Museum of Art.

For more of Mattie’s picks including what bartender makes the best drinks (and has the best mustache), where to break the bank on stylish threads, and the new public pool everyone is buzzing about, go to our Atlanta Summer in the South Guide.
