Monogram Monday: Win This Tote from Grateful Bags!

October 14, 2013 | By | Comments (601)

The Maggie by Grateful Bags Once again we’re sharing the monogram love! This time we’re teaming up with new company Grateful Bags to give away their Maggie Bag (shown above). Its supple leather, two-tone hue, and front-and-center monogram have us wishing we could enter the giveaway ourselves. (Sigh.) The head-turning tote is part of a new line of luxury bags from designer and Texas native Jenny Ross. Her chic clutches, purses, and tote bags all come ready to outfit with one of Grateful’s monogram embellishments (available in nine colors and both script and block lettering). We have a feeling her clever design is going to catch on throughout the South. Safe to say, Jenny’s got this one in the bag. From $130. The Maggie is $228; Reader Deal! For 20%-off your purchase use code SL13 at check-out.

For a chance to win this monogrammed tote, tell us where you’d carry it this fall.

The contest begins today and ends Sunday, October 20. Official rules here

With the Maggie bag, I would no longer have to give up style to have a practical tote. The classic look makes it perfect for everything from the boardroom to the ball field, the grocery store, or the gym. I would also use it as a book bag for class and as a carry on for weekend trips. In other words, the Maggie bag would be my go-to, on the go, go everywhere tote.

This bag would go everywhere. My iPad is starting to become physically attached to me, but I don’t want to carry a piece of luggage (which a lot of my lady friends seem to). It is chic, has style and seems to move easily between my personal casual and dress up! I think my embroidery hoop would fit with no problem also………….HEAVEN!!!!!

My dear, sweet husband has surprised our daughter, daughter-in-law and me with a trip to New York City in November! So, I would love to take the monogrammed Maggie Bag with me! It would certainly make me feel special, My last trip to NYC was in 1964. I was 14 years old at the time . My family and I were very humiliated when someone threw a bowl of lemons at us and told us to go back south where we belonged! This has remained with me for 50 years! So maybe this beautiful bag will bring me more happiness on ths visit!
