Howdy, Daily South readers! The Southern Weddings gals are so happy to be here! You may already be familiar with our brand of wedding content from our daily blog or annual print edition, but if not, it’s high time we were introduced.

In everything we do, our mission is to inspire brides to cultivate a life full of love–celebrating their families, the culture of the South, and what matters most to them–and then to draw from that rich well to create a meaningful beginning to married life. To learn more about us, read our manifesto.

There’s so much that the Southern Living crew and our team agree wholeheartedly on that it seemed like a natural fit when they asked us to share some of our inspiration for weddings beneath the Mason-Dixon Line. Starting next week, we’ll be posting once a week here, as well as contributing beautiful bouquets, cakes, gowns, decor ideas, and much more over at the new Southern Living Weddings page. We hope you’ll join us, and can’t wait to hear what you think!

We also post beautiful weddings every day on our own blog. These photos are from a recent favorite by Tim Will!

To celebrate, we’re giving away one of our letterpress “South” prints to a lucky reader. For a chance to win, just comment with what you’d love to see about weddings here on The Daily South, and we’ll announce a winner in next week’s post!

I would love to see a couple things. I would love to see the best destination locations for Southern Weddings. I would love to see the traditions that are deeply rooted in southern culture for weddings. And I would love to see lists of Southern Designers for weddings. Try to keep it local 🙂

My darlin’ clementine- Southern Weddings, you amaze & inspire! I would love to read more about southern wedding traditions- I just discovered the buried bourbon tradition and “house party” idea in your magazine. Learning more about the “secrets” of the south would be such a fun read!
