Last fall, we told you about a new subscription service that delivers handpicked artisan products to your door. Launched in Nashville, BATCH is expanding to include goods from other Southern cities. Here’s how it works:

BATCH owners Sam Davidson, Stephen Moseley, and Rob Williams search for the best handcrafted products to fill  boxes that  represent the specific city. Subscribers can sign up to receive a monthly subscription (or a one-time gift box).

Though they publicize the theme of each box (past months have included “bath and body” and “new adventures”), recipients don’t know which five products will be included. A three-month subscription is $97; yearlong is $388. Customers can also buy a one-time Batch box as a gift, or subscribe to the new six-month “Tour of The South,” with each month focusing on a certain city (Nashville, Charleston, Atlanta, New Orleans, Birmingham, and Austin; $240).

We took a peek inside one of their hits — the $50 Rise and Shine gift box (pictured here). It has all the ingredients for a perfect breakfast — all from the South! Order your box at batchnashville.com

This is a great unique spin on subscription commerce focusing on location/cities rather than specific product categories. good luck Batch team!
