How much pink is too much pink? And how do you decorate with pink without making a room look precious or immature?
I find myself wondering this a lot—ever since I scooped up the most lavish pink silk taffeta drapes at an estate sale (100 yards of fabric for 100 bucks!) So far, my plan is to balance them out with a lot of crisp white furniture and slipcovers (aka “I serve it over ice cream to cut the sweetness” [Steel Magnolias]) but I also think the winning formula might also include wildly contemporary art, like this Emily Rickard print. Anybody else tackled a pink room—and won?
