Wayfair

There are few things us Southerners love more than tailgating. Each Wednesday through collegiate football season, we’ll be giving away all the essentials to help you take your tailgate experience to a whole new level. Check back each week and enter for a chance to win!

Rivalries run deep in the South, and our cornhole games are no exception. Whether you pit family against family, blood against blood or Alabama fans against Tennessee fans, the competition fires us up.

This week, our friends at Wayfair are giving away a Victory Tailgate officially licensed NCAA Cornhole Game Set so you can get your game on, team-spirit style.

Pull these high-quality, tournament-grade cornhole boards out at your next tailgate to be the life of the party. Crafted with real wood, the heavy-duty sets are made to withstand more than a little friendly competition. Each pair of boards is accompanied by eight corn-filled bags, and sets can be customized with any NCAA team.

Choose your partner, hang on to your bean bags, and let the games begin.

Tell us about your team’s rivalry. Comment below for a chance to win. Official rules here.

I am a big Ga Bulldogs fan. I have friends and relatives who are FL Gator fans so that is always a big rivalry game for us. I also have a couple friends who are big Alabama fans so that is also a big rivalry game for us. We keep it all in fun though.

I’m a third year Nursing student at the University of South Carolina. I love everything related to SC, except that other school with the God awful orange and purple. My little sister is looking at schools and the first place she went to visit was Clemson, my dad promptly removed all Carolina car magnets for the trip. When I called them to see how the tour had gone, I found out my sister wasn’t as big of a fan as she wanted me to think she was. She informed me she would not be applying. They did do some shopping in the little town and my dad found a shirt he loved, but it was orange. He brought it up to the associate and inquired about getting it in a different color. Lucky for him it was delivered just in time for him to come watch the game in Williams-Brice with me this weekend. We may not be doing too hot right now when it comes to football, but if any school can bond a family it’s mine. Heck even my mom now yells “COCKS” at the top of her lungs with my sisters and I.

The NC State – UNC game. Always a great rivalry – anything can happen during this game!

Tigers Vs. Gamecocks…Tigers win, hands down, lol! Rivalry will never die, but, when one has moved on to a bigger game, we all join together to support our state teams.

Fear the Spear >>——-> FSU Seminoles vs UF Gators… no matter how well (or not) we play through out the season – you never know how this game will end up!

Alabama vs. Auburn is the definition of football rivalry! North Alabama is mainly for the crimson and white but I will always yell War Eagle!

Born and bred a tarheel girl and I have, and always will, uphold the UNC-Duke (Dook) rivalry. Football season, basketball season, lacrosse, it doesn’t matter, we are going to make it an excuse to grill, tailgate (even if it’s just in the back yard) and hate Duke No matter the sport it’s the game that all bets are off and records and ranking don’t matter. There is never an in-between position, and if there is, they obviously are a sports-wise uneducated Yankee type. It is a rivalry built on pride and tradition and even respect No matter what a UNC-Duke game is always going to mean it’s a big game and the outcome matters, even if it’s just for bragging rights!

We are a house divided. My husband and family are University of South Carolina Gamecock fans. Myself, along with my family, are Clemson Tiger fans. We are supportive of each other until the teams play each other Thanksgiving weekend of every year, but it’s all in good fun! 🏉

Being a Tennessee Volunteer fan and living in Athens GA the rivalry between the two teams is vivid. Being surrounded by Dawgs fans is rough but worth it to support Big Orange.

As you can tell by previous comments, the Clemson/Carolina rivalry is by far, the oldest and most passionate rivalry. When I was single and dating, if a fellow even had a family member who went to Clemson, no go. While shopping, even if something is on sale and I love it, I won’t buy it in orange. I even hate U of Tennessee, just because their color gives me flashbacks. While at school at USC, the rivalry was heated between the students. We would burn giant stuffed animal tigers the night before the big game.

Lastly, Clemson has a major titled ‘Parks and Recreation’. You can literally major in water fountains and slides at Clemson.

There is nothing like the Clemson/Carolina rivalry. Instead of my office having a Thanksgiving lunch we have the Clemson/Carolina Thanksgiving lunch. At this lunch there is a canned good competition to see which team’s fans can bring the most canned goods for charity. Smack talk/email begins two weeks prior to the lunch. Everyone brings in their best Tigers/Gamecocks memorabilia to decorate the tables. This usually includes a statue of a tiger with a rubber chicken(gamecock) in its mouth or a tiger being burned at the stake. During the luncheon the ‘year before game’ is playing on the big video conference screen continuously on a loop. Even if you want to sit by your best friend-coworker you cannot if he/she is wearing the opposite color. For a small state, this rivalry is the biggest!

Oh, the Clemson/Carolina game is not just a one week rivalry but a yearlong tradition! This rivalry divides friends and family and you’re known by your team! This is definitely a good year to be a Clemson Tiger!! Gooooo Tigers!!!

ROLL TIDE!!!! Can not wait to stampede Auburn like we did LSU-it’s a toss up between the two. Once had a mother & daughter stop speaking to myself & my daughter who attends the University of Alabama because they are LSU fans-speaks volumes about their fan base….

TAMU’s classic rivalry in the state is not the same since there is no more SW conf. But the Aggies are establishing new traditions.

The rivalry between University of Tennessee (GO VOLS!) and University of Florida remains just as fierce every year whether both teams are on top, on the bottom, or some where in between! It is always a perennially tough CLASH!

University of Texas and Texas A&M University were historically the huge rivals in Texas.

Texas Tech has typically been our rivalry. But no worries, we beat them back in October. As a matter of fact, we have beaten every opponent thus far this season. 10-0 baby! That’s right, UNDEFEATED! I can’t help myself, I am giddy with excitement. My OSU Cowboys play Baylor next, then it will be “Bedlam Week” here in OK when OSU prepares to meet the Oklahoma State Sooners. Bedlam has been known to put marriages as well as friendships to the test. We got this! Go POKES!

The rivalry at our house between Auburn(War Eagle!) and Alabama continues year round. The girls side with Auburn and the guys go with the Tide. We keep it relatively good natured, but never watch the Iron Bowl together.
