As you may have heard, Southern Living is hosting a special weekend in Charleston, South Carolina, June 10-12, to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. We’ve planned two days packed with dinners, historic home tours, music performances, etc., and the finale of the weekend is a Bloody Mary and Biscuit Brunch at Charleston’s Historic Rice Mill on Sunday, June 12th. I’ll be joining Robby Melvin, Southern Living Test Kitchen Director, and a handful of other editors to end the weekend festivities on a high note. Best of all, we’ll hear a special gospel performance by Ann Caldwell and the Magnolia Singers, an incredible Lowcountry group that will have you on your feet.
Our menu features delicious bites from a variety of Charleston’s best brunch spots, such as 39 Rue De Jean, Coast Bar and Grill, The Islander, Michael’s on the Alley, Vincent Chicco’s, and Virginia’s on King. Robby will be making the famous Southern Living buttermilk biscuit from scratch, we’ll enjoy Bloody Marys from Charleston Bloody Mary Mix, fresh mimosas and much more.
I hope you can join me for a delicious brunch and a great weekend in one of my favorite cities on the planet. If you’re interested, tickets can be purchased here.
See you there,
