Acts of Gratitude: Send a Thank You Letter to a Military Member

Southern Living has teamed up with Tiny Prints to celebrate gratitude, which is defined as the quality of being thankful. In all the busyness, we may sometimes forget to say thank you and show gratitude when we should. We challenge you to reflect on what you are thankful for in your life, and share a small act to pass along gratitude to others in your life.

While we are in the middle of sweet summertime, enjoying time with family and friends, it is important to remember those who are sacrificing their own lives to serve our country. This week, take a few minutes out of your day to write a letter of appreciation to a member of our military. It is also a time for the whole family to come together and complete an act of gratitude together. There are various organizations that facilitate sending these letters. Choose an organization, and they will ensure that your letter is delivered to a deserving military member.

Make sure to check back next Friday for the last act of gratitude!
