Every year a southern chef, recognized for their culinary expertise, makes their way to Hampstead, a charming Southern Living Inspired Community in Montgomery, Alabama for the annual Farm to Fork Food Invasion.
This year’s featured chef is no exception. Anne Quatrano, a nationally recognized Atlanta-based chef and James Beard Award winner for “Best Chef Southeast,” will host the 100-person dinner on the farm at Hampstead. The menu will celebrate fall produce, locally grown at Hampstead Farm, putting forth Chef Quatrano’s commitment to freshness, flavor and simplicity.
Beginning at 6pm, guests will be treated to a cocktail hour, complete with an oyster bar, followed by a family-style four-course meal. Setting up a “kitchen” inside the Hampstead Farm Barn with a fire pit grille outside, Chef Quatrano will prepare a truly farm-to-table meal in a relaxed and festive fall atmosphere. Guests will receive a complimentary copy of Chef Quatrano’s cookbook, “Summerland: Recipes for Celebrating with Southern Hospitality”.
