Southern Living teamed up with Avondale Brewing Co. and Birmingham Mountain Radio to deliver the Ultimate Birmingham Musical Showcase last Sunday. A cast of Birmingham’s hottest rock bands, including St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Matthew Mayfield and the Blue Cut Robbery, Jesse Payne, Duquette Johnston, and Sea Fix came out to raise money for Desert Island Supply Company (DISCO), an after-school creative writing studio for kids.
